The latest SiLM824x series from Suming Semiconductor is an isolated dual-channel gate driver with different configurations。The SiLM8243 and SiLM8244 are configured with high and low side drives, while the SiLM8245 offers two independent drive outputs。The drive family offers 4A output source current and 6A filling current capability, and its drive output voltage can support up to 33V。SiLM8243 and SiLM8244 support dead zone programmability, adjusting the dead zone time by adjusting the resistance outside the DT pin。The DIS pin can be used to enable or disable both driver outputs。

The SiLM824x offers different UVLO threshold options, enabling it to drive a wide range of power devices。In particular, the option of a low UVLO threshold allows it to be used to drive GaN power devices。The SiLM824x, combined with the GaN power device based power supply design, enables higher operating frequencies and faster switching speeds, helping to improve the efficiency and power density of the power supply and reduce the size and cost of the power system。
